3. Registration and account

3.1. Eligibility

Registration is reserved for natural or legal persons lawfully carrying on a hairdressing, barbering or beauty activity. The Professional declares that they have the necessary legal capacity.

3.2. Registration process

The Professional provides: name, email address, telephone number, salon address, and intra-community VAT number (where applicable). This information must be accurate and kept up to date.

3.3. Verification

  • Verification of the email address
  • Verification of the telephone number by SMS
  • Verification of the VAT number through the EU VIES system
  • Manual approval by the VesyGo team

3.4. Account security

The Professional is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for all activity carried out under their account.

4. Plans and pricing

VesyGo offers several subscription plans (FREE, PRO) whose features and prices are set out on the vesygo.com/pricing page. Tailored offers may be proposed to multi-location businesses.

  • The FREE plan is free of charge, with no commitment and no payment card
  • Paid plans are billed monthly by automatic debit
  • All prices are shown excluding VAT. Applicable VAT is added at billing
  • VesyGo takes no commission on bookings
  • Prices may be changed with 30 days' notice by email

5. Obligations of the Professional

The Professional undertakes to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
  • Honour appointments confirmed through the Platform
  • Not use the Platform for fraudulent, unlawful or improper purposes
  • Comply with applicable regulations, in particular consumer protection and the GDPR
  • Not publish discriminatory or defamatory content, or content infringing third-party rights
  • Inform their own clients of the use of the Platform and of its terms

6. Obligations of the Client

A Client making a booking undertakes to:

  • Provide accurate contact details (name, email, telephone)
  • Attend the confirmed appointment or cancel within the time limits set by the salon's policy
  • Not make fictitious or abusive bookings

VesyGo provides a technical service that connects parties. Accordingly:

  • VesyGo is not a party to the contractual relationship between the Professional and their Clients
  • VesyGo does not guarantee the quality of the services provided by the Professional
  • VesyGo cannot be held liable for cancellations, no-shows, disputes or damage arising from the relationship between the Professional and their Clients

  • VesyGo's total liability is limited to the amount of the subscriptions paid by the Professional over the last 12 months

8. Intellectual property

All elements of the Platform (source code, design, logos, texts, illustrations) are the exclusive property of VesyGo and are protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property law.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation.

The Professional retains ownership of the content they publish on the Platform (logo, photos, descriptions) and grants VesyGo a non-exclusive licence to use it in the context of the service.

9. Termination

9.1. By the Professional

The Professional may delete their account at any time from their dashboard settings. Deletion entails:

  • Immediate deactivation of their public page
  • A 30-day grace period during which operational data can be restored on request
  • Permanent deletion of operational data at the end of that period
  • Retention of past bookings for 3 years from their date (legitimate interest — dispute handling and history)
  • Retention of invoices for 10 years (Belgian tax obligation — article 60 § 1 of the VAT Code, version applicable since 1 January 2024)

Detailed retention periods are defined in the Privacy Policy (section 5), which prevails in the event of any divergence with this paragraph.

9.2. By VesyGo

VesyGo reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or unlawful activity
  • Non-payment of subscriptions after reminder
  • Prolonged inactivity (12 months without login)

10. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which form an integral part of these Terms.

Order of precedence: in the event of any divergence between these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the DPA on a question relating to the processing of personal data, the DPA prevails, followed by the Privacy Policy, then these Terms. On any other question (commercial, contractual, intellectual property), these Terms prevail.

11. Availability of the service

VesyGo endeavours to keep the Platform available 24/7. However, VesyGo cannot be held liable for unavailability due to:

  • Planned maintenance operations
  • Failures or malfunctions of telecommunication networks
  • Events of force majeure within the meaning of Belgian law

12. Changes to these Terms

VesyGo reserves the right to amend these Terms. Registered Professionals will be informed by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus (place of establishment of A. DEMS LTD) and by applicable European Union law, in particular the GDPR.

In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Nicosia, Cyprus.

Specific case of data-processing disputes: in accordance with the DPA and the GDPR, disputes concerning the processing of personal data may also be brought before the courts of the place of establishment of the Professional acting as controller (competent supervisory authority — the Belgian DPA for salons established in Belgium). This remedy is in addition to Cypriot jurisdiction and does not replace it.

For disputes between a Professional and VesyGo not exceeding the thresholds set by European regulations, the Professional may also use the European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform.

14. General provisions

  • If any clause of these Terms is held to be void, the remaining clauses remain in force
  • Failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties concerning the use of the Platform
